The Bristol and District Anti-Cuts Alliance is holding a demonstration and rally today, Saturday 23rd October, to protest against the savagery of the brutal cuts in public services facing the nation – the worst, some commentators say, since 1921.
The demonstration is supported by trades unions and the Bristol Trades Council, including the NUJ.
Our banner will be there – see picture at the top of the page – so please come and rally with us!
All assemble at 11.00 at Castle Park, Bristol, for a march through the City Centre ending with a rally on College Green at 12.00 noon.
There are a number of similar demos happening around the country today, and people will be converging on Bristol from across the South-West.
Be there.
