Melvyn Bragg among top media speakers in Bristol

SOME of the most prominent media figures in Britain – from Melvyn Bragg to Peter Hitchens – are appear at the Bristol Festival of Ideas during May.

From small beginnings the Festival has become one of Britain’s most prominent intellectual happenings.

It features top journalists, broadcasters, philosophers and academics talking and debating the hottest topics in media, politics, ethics, science, history and more.

Melvyn Bragg, Simon Hoggart, Gary Younge, Will Hutton and Francis Wheen are just a handful of the big names appearing at the Festival during May.

Bristol NUJ has been talking to the Festival and we hope we will soon be announcing a joint event.
